Sculpture Pavilion In 2001, extensive additions and renovations were made at Barrington High School.  One of the original intents of the 2001 renovation was to complete a free standing structure which would serve as a teaching/studio space for the Fine Arts Department.  The foundation for the structure was laid, however due to funding constraints the roof and walls were never completed.

The Sculpture pavilion will be a protected semi-outdoor space with kilns for ceramics and high temperature fixtures for metalwork and castings.

Additional funds are needed in order to make this teaching station and learning environment a reality for our students.

With the recent approval by District 220 of the Naming Rights concept, the opportunity exists for the Sculpture Pavilion to be named after a substantial benefactor. Name Plaques are also an option. Julie Salk, Fine Arts Department Chair, will be hosting several small group discussions with people who are interested in financially backing this tax-deductible endeavor.

If you or someone you know might be interested in furthering this cause, please contact Julie Salk at 847-842-3214.
